PICS - Brooklin 1954 Mercury Monterey wagon in green purchased about 3 yrs ago - Finally Detailed.

I took a multi year modeling vacation and woke up just a few weeks ago when I detailed a 1932 Packard.
That was so exciting that I detailed this cool Woody too. I hope you like it.
Cheers and Happy Collecting and Detailing,
Steve

Took it apart and painted the wheels, seats, dash, etc.

Lots of BMF used on this one, beltline as well as drip rail.

BMF windows, front, rear and the sides too

BMF on dash and steering wheel, plus paint

I sure think she's purtty

Very impressive work (and I don't even really like "woody's").

When I was a teenager, I was crazy about all those post-war US cars. Meanwhile - as you know - I prefer the pre-war European cars. However, I'm stunned to see such a beautiful woody. I know how fiddly BMF is to be applied on all those fine lines, but you made it so accurately and the result looks so awful handsome. I really have to tie up myself not to extend my range to woodies & fins! ;)

Thank you each for your favorable comments Tom, David MG, Jager, Jeff, Julio, and Jean who said

Well all I have to say to that is - Untie yourself Jean! Would love to see you extend your modeling skills by recreating some Woodies and chroming some fins, and showing us a "how to".
Cheers and Happy Collecting,
Steve
