Welcome beetleworxx.

Antwerp is one of my favourite cities in the world. I lived there for 4 years from 1990 - 1993 (during the time it was the cultural city of Europe) and have been lucky enough many times since.

In fact my 1:43 collecting started in Antwerp. It began with a group of Brumm models bought from my car dealer (Antwerp Car Centre), then later from Herman Verschooten Modelbouw who were at that time were on the Schoenmarkt. They used to carry the full range of Brumm, Rio, Bang, Progetto K, and many other brands that were previously unaccessible to me in Australia. Maybe you've bought a few VW models there as well ?

I look forward to seeing your collection.

cool you know Antwerp!
I'am not from the city, but a small village at 15km from Antwerp.

My first models i bought form a VW-friend. 3x Karmann Ghia.
later is bought a VW beetle (Käfer) the same as my real one.
now i try to buy all VW's ever made... every real carmodel, i want a 1/43 copy in my collection :-)

Welcome to Scale143 :D
Porsche......Evolution , not Revolution

Ask a Porsche enthusiast about the 996, you'll get this look, as if you're in the middle of a Mopar meet, and you just went up to some Dodge-loving, Barracuda-driving, Hemi-obsessed redneck and asked what he thinks about the PT Cruiser.

Welcome to the forum
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

You have come to the right place. Probably - correction, definitely! - the world's best forum for collectors of 1:43 diecast models. Lots of VW fans here. Welcome.
