Greetings from Canada

Postby ViperTeamOreca53 » Wed Nov 16, 2016 10:00 pm

Hello everyone! I've been browsing this site for some time and I have finally decided to sign up and join the community. After years of collecting 1/24 and 1/18 scale cars i've finally settled on the 1/43 scale due to the variety of cars available.

Mainly I collect GT racing cars, particularly ones that have raced at the 24 Hours of Le Mans. I also enjoy collecting Toyota Team Europe/Toyota Motorsport Gmbh factory race cars (WRC/F1/Le Mans Prototypes). The Dodge Viper is my all time favorite car and even more so the Viper GTS-R!

I look forward to meeting fellow 1/43 collectors on here :D

Welcome TVO53. If you've been lurking here for a while you'll already know there are plenty of fans of Le Mans and GT racing in general, myself included.

By coincidence I've just bought a 2001 Le Mans Viper from another Forum member which I'll post in my new acquisition thread soon.

Welcome to the forum

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

So glad you made the leap into our community TVO53, I don't think you will be disappointed. Lots of sportscars here I can assure you.

By coincidence I've just sold a 2001 Le Mans Viper to another Forum member. Not that I dislike the Viper, quite the opposite. If money was no issue then I suspect there would be one in my garage.

Welcome aboard.

Welcome bud,

As mentioned by Jager, plenty of sports car nuts here(and Le Mans in particular).
Since starting my collection about 5 years ago, I've learned alot from these 'ol pros' and continue to do so.
The forum is run with a good combination of passion and knowledge, a balance I think you will enjoy.

Cheers!

D

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome :D I look forward to meeting fellow collectors and making new friends.

In the coming weeks I will share some pictures of my collection starting with the Viper contingent (of course!)
