I'd like to say hello to everyone. I collect 1:43 and am in the process of re-doing some of the older ones I've had for a while. I'll be posting pictures of them real soon. I live in America. The state of Ohio. In a small farming community. So there's a little more about me and where I am from...lol I have really enjoyed the postings I have seen. And what truly impresses me is the camaraderie. Nothing slanderous or harsh being said to any one. I hope to be welcomed here and look forward to your future postings, as well as, mine... Thanks again Billy

Welcome to the forum Billy
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Welcome Billy. As you noticed, thing are usually pretty cordial around here, though they did get a bit tense around the time of the US election  .

Tell us a bit about your collecting habits.

Welcome Billy. I don't tend to do forums but this one leads by example to which it is a pleasure being a member. Happy days :D Hope you get as much enjoyment.
Look forward to your pics and further info on your collection.

Thank you all for the warm welcome. As to what I collect...I really like the 50's and early 60's american cars. But after looking at some of your personal collections I guess I'll be broadening my borders, as it were. There is so much out there!! And suffice it to say my collection pales in comparison to some of yours. I'm currently working on a completely scratched built garage/shop which will feature between 4 and 6 vehicles. It's truly a labor of love. And one that will accept different year and makes of cars. I'm a real stickler for detail both in the diorama I'm building and the cars/trucks that will be used. Ones that appear out of scale or proportion to themselves are reworked to correct the errors I see. So there's the run down so far. Pictures soon to follow..

...and a heartly welcome from Berlin, too! As I've right now started to build a diorama, too, I'm very curious to see how you are going to make this. Please show some pictures of the steps resp. the progress of your works. And don't worry about the number of cars in your collection. I guess that my whole collection represents the amount of cars bought in one month by some of the members here...
