Hot Wheels Secret Santa ?

Post by Jager » Sat Oct 08, 2016 12:23 am

We've kicked off the 1:43 Secret Santa for Christmas this year, but I wondered if there was enough interest from you guys here for a separate Hotwheels Secret Santa ?

Thanks Jeff. I agree.....I didn't think it would make sense to do it for a single model, but envisaged you could spend $10-15 buying 3 - 4 cars. That's if there is enough interest which doesn't appear to be the case at the moment.

I might be in for this. As currently my budget this year as I'm sure most of you will have noticed has been miniscule and my arrivals have mostly been 1:64 Hot Wheels and they are fantastic and they fill the urge to get cars into the collection. :)

Count me in 8-)

Let's make this Sunday will be the final roll call. You can PM me your details and I'll set it up.

What rules do you want to apply - make it 3-4 model at Santa's discretion ? Just Hot Wheels, or do you want to include other brands ?

8-) this will be my first secret santa. Ian would you mind letting me/us know what the basic principal is of the secret santa please? I think 3-4 quantity is perfect, anything in 1:64 scale would be fine with me.

Is it just name and address etc your needing PM'd Ian?

Thanks Alistair

Yes, I just need your address for postage. I'll then pass on the details of your Secret Santa recipient to you, and you'll have about six weeks to look through his past posts here on the forum and decide what to send him for his collection.

Last call for the 2016 Secret Santa.

Can you please PM me your postal addresses and I'll get your recipient out to you in the next 48 hours.

Jeff, did you want to participate in both the 1:43 and 1:64 Secret Santa's, or just one of them ?

That's a bit tough on your secret santa who now has to wait to mid-January for his present.

Unless it's within Europe, that usually takes no more than a couple of days. A package to the US I shipped two weeks ago still shows as 'in transit'.

Nice set Batman.

Santa absolutely hooked me up with every car I have been wanting plus a few more. I can't believe how perfect the selection was. Thanks Santa!

Santa was kind enough to bring my gift the last working day of the year. The postman threw the package to the second floor despites it was written "FRAGILE" on it!! This man must be an idiot.

Thank you very much for the seven little cars I got as a gift (pics to follow). I apologize for my late displatching of your package. I hope it reaches its destination very soon and the content appeals to the recipient.

What a winning hand! Who knew there was a Chevy Luv in ANY scale :o And those two Datsuns look incredible even if the Fairlady resembled a Studebaker Golden Hawk to my early morning sleepy eyes. The more I see the variety and value in 1:64, I find myself resisting another collecting road to travel. BB
