It's not just an emergency number. It's a three digit number that soared throughout the history of racing and it still is.

How is Norev scale compare to Tomica Limited Vintage or Kyosho?

First of all, Norev 1/64 is much cheaper than the two, but the quality and detail exceed the price. Sadly, there are only a few models made, mostly French cars.

Second, the size of a Norev 1/64 model is as large as a SIKU. Hence we can't really call it as "1/64" even though the company claims it to be. You cannot compare it to true 1/64 models such TLV and Kyosho make.

Thanks for the info. Currently I'm collecting 1:64 models based on TLV/Kyosho size. Kinda disappointed when other company like Minichamps 1:64 a bit large than those two. Too bad Norev also bigger than tlv.

Don't Norev call it '3 inch' themselves? I have their excellent Peugeot 205 GTI and it is a lot larger than 1:64.

Note: I removed the mud flaps, as they distract the sexy lines of the car.
