What ever happened to the guy that use to wine about never finding a Super TH in the wild because I know it was not this guy.... :D

Great finds and did you do the happy dance you found those Supers. If you didn't those finds don't count and you have to take them back......LOL

I am glad you found some STHs and it seems you are on a streak. Enjoy while it last because it will get dry fast enough.

Well I went out window shopping today and ended up coming home with a few very unexpected finds which are very WELCOME additions to my 1:64 collection :D

I NEVER EVER thought I'd see these "Looney Tunes" over here... but I did and I grabbed these beauties.

Image

I did come across the TAZ' before a few months back after my brother found them in a different shop and that was all there was and have been desperate to try and get the rest of this set to complete it, thankfully now after today I am now a big step closer to doing that as I now only need to get two each of the two remaining cars which were not on the pegs today, otherwise I am a very happy chap today.

The two yellow Bone Shakers were bonus finds along with the skyline R34 at the same time. Like the bone shaker casting

Nice adds, these issues seems to be even more rare in Sweden than in UK. :)

That's awesome!!! I am glad you were able to find some. Normally this time of year all kinds of diecast comes out of the wood work especially at stores that normally don't carry diecast cars or toys for that matter. I have the TAZ buried somewhere in the collection but my favorite out of the bunch is the Chevy Truck Dually. I am really surprised you just found the Nissan because they were everywhere and plentiful at one time. I hope you are able to find the doubles you need later on. Just a hint, things seem to get cheaper after Christmas. Keep an eye out for mark downs after the Holidays.

Yes I am Jeff, BUT it depends on which kind your talking about as there are 2 different kinds out right now, if it's the ones with real rubber tyres/tires and metal bases then definitely as the other kind are available here and are clogging up the pegs so to speak. If you have a pic that I could see to confirm if it's the correct ones that would be great or I could try find pics of the ones I'd be interested in mate?

Johan I was COMPLETELY gobsmacked to have actually even come across these as we NEVER usually get this good stuff, hopefully this is a sign of good things to come in the future.

Thanks Hawk. So am I as I think these little beauties are brilliant, the particular shop is a sort of bargain shop and sells toys but sometimes as in this case it sells the HWs, thankfully. I am a huge TAZ fan and it was the one that initially drew me towards wanting to get this set.
I have a couple of those nissans from when they were originally released over here, but you can never have too many of them and 4 in my collection total now is sufficient for me.

Nice finds!

HW hunting is quite different from the regular 1:43 buying, I guess. The prices make it easier to buy in quantity and get duplicates.

;)

The Escort is very nice ...and I might have one I could let go of. The Jag is VERY hard to come by, as you know I usually try and get two of each piece so I can open one and keep the other sealed in its packaging and I found one of these near the beginning of the year I think it was and I only just this week found this second one!! BUT if I ever come across another one Jeff consider it yours mate.

Well I had a niggling hunch to go back to where I got the Looney Tunes cars from before, so today I quickly did a detour on way home and ...BINGO the two big pieces that I have not seen in of the stores were there right out in front of what was a hugely filled pegs, so I grabbed two of each of these and this now thankfully makes this set complete  woo hoo!!

These two pieces are awesome and HEAVY. Really hope we get more of these special series of HWs in shops here in the UK.

Zeus if you ever happen to come across another $uper Treasure Hunt Toyota Off Road Truck then let me know and I might do a swap with you for it for one of my VW Drag buses ok mate.

Well I went HWs hunting today for my 1st days hunting of 2016 and found these beauties, the two on the right are $uper Treasure Hunts and were both found in the same store/shop which is EXTREMELY unusual and have put a huge grin on my ugly old mug  the Vette on the left is one of this years regular treasure hunts and is also apparently quite hard to find (at least so I hear in the US anyway) this one makes my 2nd so I wont be needing anymore of these vettes.

REALLY love the Nova :D

This will make you jealous, but I've found 2 Toyota Off-Road truck $upers in a month. Sold off both of them though. I hate Toyotas!

If I find another Corolla $uper consider it yours Zeus. I quite like these Corvettes

There is a lot of nice stuff coming out from HWs and MBX this year that I can't wait for, like the red Escort RS1600 with race livery or the new Porsche 993 GT2 $uper and regular (which are out already in the US etc)

Sadly the blister on the white M3 is burst and all 4 of the white M3s had burst blisters!! this one was the least damaged one.

Will open all of these once we have moved into the new place. New owners of our house get the keys mid Feb :?
