Very nice adds Simon, LOVE the DTM M, just as much as I love my 2012 and 2013 versions in matte black #7 "BMW Bank" and the yellow #22 "deutsche post"

So one of my current 1:1 favourites is the BMW M2, particularly in Long Beach Blue. Was pleased to hear that GT Spirit were going to make this especially after the excellent job they did on it's predecessor the BMW 1M. Minichamps also made a 1M which was pretty appalling and nothing like the 1:1.

So a few weeks ago Minichamps released a black M2, which looked surprisingly good, so I bit the bullet and ordered one and I was really impressed when it arrived. Then a couple of weeks later they released it in Long Beach Blue and it looked great. Around the same time, GT Spirit released a couple of teaser photo's of their M2 and it looked dreadful and completely the wrong shade of blue. I ordered the Minichamps and have to say it's a gorgeous model. GT Spirit have just released booking details for their M2 and it's as bad as the earlier teaser photo's suggested.

Seems ironic that Minichamps got it so wrong on the 1M but so right on the M2, and GT Spirit completely the other way round. I'm really disappointed with GT Spirit, because until now they have made some of the best sealed models in their price-range and I've been a massive fan. Hope this M2 is just a blip!

:o very very nice mate.
...I've been wanting to add an M2 to my BMW M collection and was considering either GT Spirit or OTTO Model depending on which one of those would do them, didn't even consider MC since their prices are really steep and their quality just has not been up to the standards of what a decent (price worthy) 1:18 item should be, so now it looks like I might have to go and hunt down an MC M2... Now which colour? Doh!

Nice Beemers, mate!

The exhaust sound of the 1:1 is as nice as the car looks.

Thanks Alistair. The Minichamps are sealed, but then again so are Otto's/GT Spirits......and both these M2's cost me around £75 each. The blue is limited to under 800 units and the black just over 500. Would imagine the blue will be in more demand by BMW fans now they've seen the GT Spirit version. The blue looks stunning in my opinion......one of my favourite models in my collection!

I'd buy that in blue 1:43 diecast metal as it's currently my favourite BMW colour.

I was kind of unsure about the RS in that color but it's definitively a looker!

Looks fantastic. There's a 991 here locally in the same colour, it looks great on the car.

Thanks Tom.....would like to see a 1:1 in this blue too as it might help me decide one way or another whether I like it or not.

I really wanted the purple Dealer Edition, but missed the boat on that one and prices have gone silly.

GT Spirit BMW M3 Liberty Walk. Not usually a great fan of these type of modified cars, but have a soft spot for battleship grey cars.

The Aston is sublime. The Pork and BMW are not far behind. All in great colours and all very fine models

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.
