They were the absolute best Porsche 993s ever made at the time . Sure they have their faults but they still hold their own against the newer resin stuff.
Just think , I was buying my Ut models from a local bricks and mortar model shop , brand new for just £19.99 each . How times have changed in our hobby.

Love it. I have the Maisto 996 racer and that's pretty decent, but this is super.

Like the Targa a lot.

Those UT models were very good at the time, and stand up well enough today too. Had a few UT Porsche's but sold them off.....wish I had kept a few now!

In the next week or two, I'll be posting the remaining 48 models from my 1:18 collection that I've not photographed before; bunch of UT BMW's and Cosworths in the mix.

The Maisto GT Series were excellent models , I have the 3 x 996`s` and 3 Merc CLK racers .
This blue GT1 was the rarest of all the GT1 models and wasnt cheap , but it was worth every penny .

Cheers Simon.....I loved UT Models for what you got for the money . Some of them were stunning...especially the Cossies :lol:

Nah , its gone now . It was a beautiful model and the Dealer version is now exceedingly rare and is selling for $800.....I wish I still had mine :lol:
