Nice R8 model!

Although, it's a pity that most liveries on R8s cover the unique contrasting colour side panel of the car!

thanks guys

Another of my recent Exoto purchases arrived today, this time the #69 HCC Ski Wear Porsche 934 from Le Mans 1976.

The car raced in the GT class along side 9 other GT entries that year. The #69 car was driven by two drivers, Claude Haldi and Florian Vetsch who managed to qualify 24th on the grid out of 55 cars. The car managed to get to the 19th hour of the race and complete 219 laps of the Le Mans circuit before retiring due to engine issues. The car was in 14th place when it retired.

This car, chassis number 930 670 017, returned to Le Mans in 1979 (after another DNF in 1977) sponosored by Lubrifilm Racing (also available from Exoto) and took class win in GT+3.0 and came 4th overall behind three of the many 935s that entered in 1979.

Nice. I would really love to add a plain colour 934 or even a Jager one day.
