Thanks guys, Tom yeah as I said this is my very first 1:12 and probably will not be last so long as the next ones price is right

The detail on it is very impressive right down to the folding front seats and towing eye rings in the correct places and even has a working rear boot/trunk handle to open it  and the bonnet/hood even has a stand too 8-)

I own three 1:12 models, and love them dearly! 8-)

Great adds Alistair, lovely Sport Classic 997. SLS looks good in red in roadster form. And the Mini is not so mini!

Very nice models and especially the 1/12 Mini :) I too would like to add at least one car in 1/12 in my collection some day, just to decide which one and save the money for it as they're usually not cheap.

When I think of 1:12, 2 cars come to mind. First is all the Motormax 1:12 Ford GT's that they were selling in the closeout section at Walmart for $30 that I passed on and the other is a FM 1:12 Cobra that I bought for peanuts and after selling it got a 5 fold increase on my money.

BTW, your Mini is smashing.

I have two, a Premium Classixx Porsche 911 which is basically no more than a large 1:18 with not a lot of detail and a SunStar Morris Minor which is amazing, down to the complete tool roll in canvas and roll-down windows.

My 1st arrival for 2014 is this beauty

Mark Webbers 2013 Show car limited edition of 504 pcs by Minichamps
Image

I am a HUGE fan of Mark Webbers and was really sad to hear that he was leaving F1 at the end of the 2013 season so once this appeared I snapped it up for my collection. I cant wait to see how he now gets on Racing for Porsche at LeMans this year.
Webber and Porsche = awesome in my book

I love these 18 scale F1 cars, only get the ones that I really like the look of.

Here is todays arrival which has been wanted for my collection for an extremely long time and now finally have one and I am extremely happy with it (apart from a slightly cooked rear badge  )

I know there will be certain members who will love this and maybe an equal amount who wont, One I can be certain of who will be top of the latter list

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Ha ;)

Very nice piece Alistair. The current crop of DTM cars are as good-looking as any, and the model does this one justice.
