That is a lovely shade of blue. Looks like an Otto paint finish with extra sheen. Very nice addition

I was wondering about that too. I really think the Aa version (pink) is tough to beat and is still missing in my collection, in either pink ( :? ) or the mint green please :D

I think Andy said it best about the paint, and he knows a thing or two about Ottos ;)

That finish looks like it never dried :P Absolutely brilliant work, I'd be all over this if I won the lotto!

I only have one Otto model car but I think you can compare both models. Unfortunately the model is completely sealed but it has a very good finish. I think this one will not be the first and only GT Spirit in my collection.

Hi Stephan

Just caught up with this thread. I think I need to add that Autoart RS to my collection and just found GT Spirit 964 in red now for a good price and free shipping in Germany 8-)

Possibly a daft question - if they are both 964 RS, why does one have the huge tail spoiler etc and the other one 'stock' ?

Cheers

I think the bespoilered version is something like the Club Sport, the hardcore edition.

The none spoilered 964 RS was the standard "lightweight" roadcar version running a 3.6 litre engine with 265 bhp.

The spoilered version had the wider Turbo body along with a bigger 3.8 litre engine with 305 bhp . Only 55 were ever made making it one of the rarest Porsches ever made

Ah ha...cheers Gary. The current 911&PorscheWorld magazine has an excellent feature on buying your first Porsche and details the differences between the Carrera SC, the 930 Carrera and the Carrera 3.2 also

It is quite a maze with the earlier Porsches up to the 993 IMHO

I will eventually also be taking a bit of a group shot.

GT Spirit have released some great Porsche models. I really like the 3.8 RS, and fancy it in the yellow.
