bmw M3 E36 - Otto

Post by Johnny_Bravo » Sat Nov 01, 2014 6:27 pm

5th in my 118 beemer collection, the M3 got to me this summer in august and went through a lot. I got it while i was meeting with some fellow collectors and got it out for a photo session in the sun. In about 10 minutes it became yellow ish....i thought i had seeing problems from the sun but my friends confirmed. Me and my precious were the subject of several jokes that weekend, i got home and put it away for a while. These days i took it out for some pics and surprise: it is white again. In any case, don't take your white Otto's in the bright sun....

Nice model! I'd never heard of tanning scale models though...

Now that is strange. Nice model though

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Nice model :) Strange phenomena going yellow in the sun and returning back to white. Sounds like it's better to keep all resin models out of hot sunshine.

thank you gentlemen, it was so strange to me too, i never heared of such a thing b4. I love the kitty(now even more that is back to it's original color) and i am hunting for a decent price for the green one i missed when launched.

Another top Otto job.......think I slightly prefer the original green M3 GT....certainly worth adding toy our collection when you get the chance.

And more first class photo's.
