I'm gonna get my nose in here and drop my inquiry...
i've been on the lookout for an aston martin amv8 robin hamilton, from spark that raced at le mans 1979. you know the beast. so far, i only found one that rests loose with no right side mirror... i wouldn't go for that... do you know where i'd find one of those in better condition? :) cheers

The '79 AM is a pretty rare and expensive beast despite the fact it was an early DNF. If you find one don't expect it to be cheap :

Maybe getting one with a missing side mirror isn't a bad thing if you get it cheap (assuming you can replace the mirrors from a part-works model).

I'm looking for this or any other 1/43 Porsche 956 Marlboro.
I'd prefer if possible to find one without the Marlboro decals applied so I can do it myself.
Any assistance much appreciated.

John

John, I believe there are 5 Marlboro versions of the 956 available :

Quartzo (Q3059) : 1983 #11 Monza 'short tail' (Full Marlboro decals)
Spark Cartima (CA-WOL-02) : 1983 #11 Monza 'short tail' (Full Marlboro decals)
Minichamps (430 836608) : 1983 #8 Mugello 'short tail' (Marlboro Barcode logo)
Quartzo (Q3055) : 1983 #8 Le Mans 'long tail' (Full Marlboro decals)

Best though if you can find one is the Cartima two car 'before and after" 1983 Le Mans set :

Hello,

I am searching the Peugeot WM P88 that raced at Le Mans in 1988, and that is holding the speed record at the Mulsanne straight with 407 km/h.

The reference is Bizarre BZ061.

Thanks !!

Having spent a week holidaying in Sweden, I thought I'd like to add something with a Swedish flavour to my collection. Top Models did a couple of 1959’s Le Mans Saab’s, but the quality on those is pretty average.

My preference is to try and find this 1968 Lola driven by the Swedish pair of Ulf Norinder and Sten Axelsson. It's been done by Best, but I'dl ike to find the Spark verson (S1433) if anybody has one or can point me in the right direction :
