So sorry to see you selling off tour 356's. But I understand the need to do what you have to do.
I see a car that I would love to have but I am in no position to be spending money on cars right now.

I hope you move everything if it helps you out, Andrew.

Thanks loads Jeff. Never expected to have to sell but must needs and all that.

Hope they are priced well enough to sell besides the more special models - the Spark Passions Drive 911 and the M/C IAA 991.

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Very sorry to see this Andrew. I really wish you the best of luck, that the models give you a good return.

In the end, they are only material possessions, and can be bought again in better times if you so choose.

Lovely selection Andrew, very sorry to hear your selling. I knew someone a couple of years ago who had a Minichamps 1:43 356 Speedster with a Mille Miglia livery, it was black. been trying to track down the model but have had no luck. It was a very limited model, less than 1000 pieces. Do you know of it ??

You must be sad to part with those models, Andrew. Some very choice selections and if they had numbers, I'd be all over them! The Gmund 356 is great, never seen one. If it were in silver I'd have jumped on it.

Hope you see better times before you have to part with anything that really hurts!

Best,
Phil.

Another 'cull' of some interesting items Andrew. I'm sure there will be some happy Porsche addicts - sorry - enthusiasts, as there are some attractive pieces up for grabs.

What will your next collecting theme be?

Many thanks for the kind supporting words gentlemen. Its with a heavy heart that i sell these on but as another "wise one" has said above, they are only material possessions and can be bought again sometime. I wont lament further but i am grateful that most have now sold. I dont look at the forum as much recently, as firstly, the new 991 Porsches aint out yet (well a few but in different colours but have them anyway) and secondly, obviously i still love 1:43, and it hurts the heart to see the lovely 1:43 goodies in the "what have you bought today" section that i just cant afford........... :(

I dont however see myself selling my 911 collection for the foreseeable future unless things get really bad. The future IS bright, it may not be Orange, but it may be Porsche..................

I would hate to have to sell any of my collection. I understand how hard it'd be and you have my full sympathy and I hope things get better and your not forced to sell any more models than you really need to :( .

This sucks Andrew, sorry mate only just spotted this thread  Sorry to see that your having to sell some of your Porsche collection mate (especially the white Iaa 991 :o ), but as has been said already, once things pick up for you you will always be able to source the collection again if need be. Hope things pick up for you sooner rather than later.
