Sport Classic models are very hard to find, the Speedster is much more popular, i want to add a speedster to my collection.

Yes I know they are rare, I've just missed one on eBay.

I have the special edition dealer speedster in white and the pure blue one as well as the older 911 speedster (1000 pcs)

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

That's it. Appeared, we bought them all, very hard to find. It's a schuco - one of the first of their DE Porsches

I'd lost track of time as i picked it up from the dealer over 2 years ago so i suppose its going to appreciate but it's only an ok Schuco.

Good luck with your search

Two of these I know of have sole for over £800!! Now that is ridiculous! If its an 'ok' schuco then I might not bother.

Sorry, I'll throw mine in as well!

But seriously, those prices are insane. Perhaps it might be a better (and cheaper) bet to seek out the '25 Years Porsche Exclusive' boxset that has the Sport Classic plus a blue 997 Speedster?

For example, this one:

BOOM!!! Bought it this morning after missing out on 5 on eBay scattered across the world! I paid €65 from a seller in France.

I was wondering just how many dealer editions of this model were mad because you hardly ever see them for sale and when you do they are bid on furiously!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/320927435070?ss ... 096wt_1189

I'm pretty sure this one above will fetch up to £100.

Congrats, I'm glad you were able to finally snag one at a decent price.

Check this out - insane! Not to mention his $60 shipping fee to Canada...

I can go to my local dealer here and buy one of those for $170 all in!

Ridiculous!
