So, some unusually regular looking cars there but for some of these later releases its back to the twilight zone....

Amazing, love them all. It's great to see models of cars I've never even heard about. :)

Thanks for opening the thread BertOne.

The Dubonnet is massive! (saw the group pic on Facebook). Slightly tempting but not sure... Still no AutoCult in my collection (I was about to get the BMW Loewy but it still resisted..).

Next month's releases:

NSU Turner Rs 1969

Skoda Winnetou Spyder

Persu limousine

Like a lot of AC's releases i find it's a battle of heart vs head. Intellectually, as a concept car collector I feel I should have this but like other models in the series the fact that it looks rather unlike a car means my heart doesn't yearn for it. Do I really need a model of a car that looks like an old boot?!

GM Streamliner Parade of progress

This will surely be a must for anyone who has the later Neo/TSM Gm trucks.

As dramatic as the later Futurliners are, I have always liked the earlier ones just as much.

I prefer the earlier Futurliners by a considerable margin.

Was the Persu commissioned by a shoe maker?

As i understand it was commissioned by an old woman

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Haha LOL from all the comments about that shoe-car.

The Streamliner is Very tempting!! Although I guess they were not exhibited along any concept cars by that time (unlike the Futurliners).

For this realise i will pick the NSU Thurner; i saw it on a German website of obscure cars, fits with my collection topic.
i have allready three plus one 1.18 AutoCult models in my collection, they look great, great to see obscure cars like those in modelcar scene.

Just found out they are due to release a Lotus Team Ford Thames 400E truck, expected in UK this month

Image

My question is though, how many of these did Team Lotus have? I have found details on reg No. 882 YPL as a restored truck and see Autocults model is 881 YPL, which would suggest they had 2 or more. Also what period would these of been used by Lotus?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Bruno, there are no period pictures I can find, and if you Google 882 YPL, you'll find that this is not a genuine ex-Team Lotus vehicle :

There is a chance Autocult have simply produced their model from 882 YPL without realizing it isn't genuine.
