Sorry David but nice though they are, when did you ever see a TC with chrome rims and spokes? Time to get the Humbrol silver out....

Which is why I am considering spraying them red ;)
Spray silver is a two coat job and would lose the detail of the spokes.

Actually it's a '68. The '67 has vent windows and no blinker lights in the front fenders. There are other differences but they are the major ones. It is very easy to mistake one year for the other.

Several of the last cars have really jumped off the page for me! I really like that R10 in black as well as the Suntrust DP. That car almost makes the off looking Prototype body look good!

I can add another to the list....

Been quite a while since anyone has added some new black car pictures. I hope we can keep this one going.

Here is Eligor's french version of a 1932 Ford street rod. Being '32's are almost impossible to find in 1/43, I'll take it !

Image
Here are a couple more shots of a Don Gartlits rail that I believe Frank had posted earlier. As his shots disappear, I thought I would refresh his submission. Hope that's OK, it's just that I feel overwhelmed by the super car/ circiut race cars/street cars that are most popular on the site. As he mentioned, this beauty is made by GMP.
OH GMP, wherefore art thou? We need you back in 1/43 scale!

unfortunately they were in bankruptcy a few years back and then were bought out.
(that's the story one of my dealers gave me at any rate) The new owners aren't
interested in doing the stuff that we all loved when they made it...
Sure wish I'd had a shot at a particular one of those 1/12 scale C5's when they were new...

Like I need another Vette...

The new owners are basically the old owners. A bit different but the same management team.
Much of the tooling did not make it to the new group as there is a very long trail of woe associated with the ashes of GMP from the sounds of things.

This could be a very dark shade of something else, but I think it's just black.
