Red Bull

Post by k1w1taxi » Fri Nov 12, 2010 9:09 pm

Was going to post these in Family thread but decided that RB was a big enough theme to sustain it's own thread. I don't really need to say anything about RB but to let the pictures speak for the size and breadth of their involvement in Motorsport.

This is great Lee - and I was thinking only the other day about all the cars that RB have sponsored - you have set me on a mission now...Just dont get scalainj started on his Jaegermeister collection 8-)

My only one at the moment, but I wish I had more. Everything looks good in this livery.

I am going to say something that I hope doesn't get me booted out of here. I don't really care for the RB livery at all. :geek:
I can't ever see myself buying one. I do think Lee's 2009 Spark with the picture of the can is a vast improvement.

The closest I can contribute to this thread is that I have a Petronas Corolla by Vitesse, (so not very close at all!) but I agree, everything looks great in Red Bull's livery. It's a modern rival to Martini and Gulf for its iconic nature.

Hopefully Red Bull will release a road car some day, as I think their growing motorsport heritage deserves it.

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Can't believe I forgot to comment on the TT-Rs. Seriously cool cars those. Did have one all lined up locally, but the retailer managed to break the rear spoiler then wouldn't knock anything off the price

After the Italian GP yesterday - not a good day for Red Bull. Vettel needs to also re-engage his brain IMHO and Webber does his usual trick of (self-admittedly) chucking it instead of going for the points...Days like those Christian Horner doesnt need.

I'm not a huge fan of it on cars either - however, the Dakar trucks look awesome - and the Touaregs aren't too bad either.
