Renault has marketed for the French market 3 generations of the Rambler Classic as well as the 1967 Rambler Ambassador. Those cars shipped from the US as CKD and assembled in the Belgium Renault factory.

On the photos below, you can see the "Renault" logo:

I have always thought that this was a very good looking car, never dreamed that it would be out in 1:43.
Now I must find one, who is the maker?

I have a number of Renaults - due to family having owned most of the 1:1 back catalog - this one however was because of a car i owned - i had a dark blue Laguna II (51 plate) 1.8 dynamique - it was a great car.

I have this forum to thank for finding the 1:43 - i bought it from an eBay seller in Germany.
