That NEO S-type looks great, and the Corgi is simply lovely! ;)

Good job I checked as a thread is here 8-) . As some may know, I have relocated to Munich, and as these things happen, have started to notice/take an interest in the local Polizei vehicles (esp as we just had the Munich - Chelsea European Cup Final apparently :-) and they were all out in force.

So I thought I would check my dbase and see what models I had picked up over the years unwittingly and was pleasantly surprised with this lot

400 063090 911 Carrera Coupe (Type 997) 2004 Police Austria
400 097090 Amphicar 1965 Polizei Hamburg
400 011390 Audi 60 Variant 1970 Green - Polizei Ingolstadt
430 019195 Audi 100LS 1970 Polizei
400 021190 BMW 1802 1972 Green / White - Polizei Munchen
430 062090 911 Carrera (Type 930) 1978-83 Polizei Stuttgart
400 062190 924 Coupe 1984 Autobahn Polizei Dusseldorf
430 055090 VW 1302 Cabriolet 1970 Polizei Berlin

I did a scoot through ebay last night and saw that Neo do quite a few nice models of the BMW 5er Touring as well...am also looking for the VW van...

Will take some pics next weekend when re-united with the collection.

Here's my sole police car...

Peugeot 404 Deutsche Police Car, model by IXO. I particularly like the bullet hole in the door, which is why I bought it as soon as I saw it in the shop.

If you think my Peugeot 404 (above) has a nice touch of hilarity, how does this Moskvitch 400 Soviet cop car with an urge to be heard suit you?

Imagine the current force using the new jaguar XF and Xj's, I wouldn't mind having a ride in the back of one. All blue lights going, all though the Criminal record puts that off

I have tried so very hard not to have any Police car in my collection as i fear one will bring all, sort of like a doughnut shop :D
Of course I have the Bond versions though, could not be helped. I think the best one from that series is the Land Rover Defender from QOS.

In the U.S., I think you can buy squad cars from any city, county or state that you want – in 1:43. (I suspect they hand them out as door prizes at cop conventions.) They are cheap brands and not well made, but I had to have one from my city and one from my state. I believe the agencies have moved on to newer liveries by now.
