Fantastic groups David! Looking at the TR7 after all those trad Brit sportscars, it's easy to see why it was a flop. I still like it, though.

I always liked that particular 2000 Le Mans #83 911 GT3, but I've never got around to doing anything about it.

The car had an interesting history, having taken the GT class win, only to be disqualified post race for an illegal oversized fuel tank.

Unfortunately the #83 Porsche was also the last car we would see Bob Wollek enter in at Le Mans. As many know, he was tragically killed just before the Sebring race in March 2001.

The fuel cell tank was just 1 l over the limit 100 l, and worse of all, it was a factory part. It was said that because of the heat the tank expanded, but expnding 1% in volume with gas in the tank is kind of hard to believe in my eyes. I think it came from Porsche out of spec.
