You've recreated the picture as a diorama very well , it looks great . Love the Porsche hanging its tail out in typical 911 style.
Porsche......Evolution , not Revolution

Ask a Porsche enthusiast about the 996, you'll get this look, as if you're in the middle of a Mopar meet, and you just went up to some Dodge-loving, Barracuda-driving, Hemi-obsessed redneck and asked what he thinks about the PT Cruiser.

I agree with the others, it's a great looking diorama.

I think I like this even better than your Alpine diorama.

I'm wondering what happened 2 or 3 seconds after the photo was taken. Did the out of control Porsche get cleaned up by the Vette ?

Thanks to everybody, boys!

This is the comment that I received from Henry Greder (R.I.P.) on the diorama:

Was the Vitesse corvette something you converted?

Translation:

Hello, I am Henry Greder, a driver of the Corvette No. 143 to the Tour de France 69.
I congratulate you on having reproduced this scene which was for me a great moment. Having taken a good departure I was in the lead in front of Porsches de Larousse and Chasseuil. Unfortunately I made one sucks in tail one kilometer after the departure and all car doubled me. I managed to cross cars one by one and I arrived behind Porsche of my friend Gérard Larousse. Gérard was so surprised seeing me in his rear-view mirror, which he failed banged rails in it famous bends of the bridge.
I joins you a photo of my Corvette which had a little suffered in head has tail after the departure.
Best regards.
Henry Greder

How lucky you were to have Henry Greder admire your diorama prior to his passing.

I know him as a 9 times Le Mans driver, 8 of those appearances being in Corvettes. Unfortunately I have only two of those as models, but suspect I'll add more over time.

Incredible story and what a thrill for you both to share in the enthusiasm of your diroama depiction! That event was obviously a very memorable moment in his life and I'm thinking his acknowledgement was one for you as well. Great Thanksgiving day piece! BB
