Fantastic!
It seems an image of the movie "Le Mans", where at the beginning of the film shows the preparations of teams for the big race.
Many cars, many trucks, mechanics, pilots, public, tires. Nothing missing.
I was thinking that too. Fantastic! Thanks for posting these.
Funny you should say that. The same creators (Chrono43) also produced a diorama of the making of the Le Mans movie.

Outstanding :!:
I can't get over the figurines. Since there aren't that many vehicles in this dio, the major expense for producing it has to be the figures. Many seem to be bespoke for the scene here. Many of them are not your generic variety, but rather are posed and attired for specific activities (e.g., the guy in coveralls manning the klieg light on the left).

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Will have to go searching for more pics now.

Wow... you could isolate just a small piece of any part of that dio and look at it forever, so much going on, so many details.

Brilliant, If I had the time, money and resources then I'd definately try to give something like this a go. Would love to see a modern day version of a race pit dio, be it Rally, Le Mans, SPA, Daytona, Nurburgring or even F1 etc I think it would be an awesome sight

I went looking for some more pictures of the 1967 Le Mans diorama, and found this 3 minute video regarding the earlier 1970 Le Mans diorama :

I like any diorama which can seamlessly include a Citroen Ami into a Le Mans pit lane setting! As Johan said, you could look at them for hours, there's so much going on.

'Thunderbolt' - Speed Record Car. Capt George Eyston set a speed of 357.05 mph at Bonneville in the 1930s. I probably had this (Dinky Toys number 23 - and very simple in outline) as a child in the 1950s. You can see the diorama has been made to look like the Salt Flats.

The Chrono 43 guys seem very talented at modifying kits and models to suit their diorama's. There is a 1:43 kit of the Thunderbolt made by Replicast.
