Meet Me At The Station -- some where in the USA circa 1940.

I bought the train station at a model train fair a couple of years ago, which meant that it was only a matter of time before I brought in a train to go with it. I picked up a steam locomotive, coal car, caboose and some track this year. Not enough to be functional, but looks good.

Now a similar scene but with newer vehicles giving it an German early '60's feel.

The inspiration for this photo set.

I admit that something is lost in translating these Transformer related 1:1 cars in to 1:43 Fords, but still fun to make the effort.

I couldn't decide if the Camaro replacement should be the '71 Mustang Mach I or the XB Falcon GT -- so I did both.

They only live for an evening and then all the pieces go back in their boxes until inspiration strikes again.

And one more thing I forgot to ask: the trains are also 1:43? O scale? If so I imagine your railroad to be absolutely massive :o.
Cheers!

Another fake out LUW, they are O-scale but I only have a few feet of track, not a whole layout (i.e. only for show, not for go).

The depth of your collection is very impressive Michael. Who would have thought the humble Fiesta would be so popular with model makers.

Thanks. Solido also makes one, but it is redundant when compared to the other maker's offerings.
