I don't buy many models larger than 1/43 but sometimes I have to make an exception, like with this gorgeous Hispano due out next year from Automodello.

Very special looking car, Tom.

It will be interesting to see how Automodello does in the bigger scale. I am expecting a lot.

I love the Xenia!!!

It's one of the cars that I proposed in that old thread about cars we would like to see as 1:43s...I'm sure that Automodello will do wonders with this car.

But...why not do it in 1:43??? :?

Perhaps they will ;)

Please make this in 1/43 too! Ban Seng made one but unfortunately it leaves a lot to be desired in my opinion.

I don't understand why manufacturers aren't lining up to make this beauty. The Ban Seng is OK but the likes of Automodello could do it much better. Incidentally Mini Auto have one pencilled in as a future release (for 2010!) by Liege models. Whether it ever did/will see the light of day remains to be seen but at a price of $600-$900 it's all academic anyway as far as I'm concerned!

Automodello cancelled the Xenia as Minichamps is going to release 1/43 & 1/18 models. I guess it's the end of the story.

Sorry for the late response but I only just found this. I find it refreshing that a manufacturer has been keeping tabs on what's happening in the marketplace and has responded accordingly. It's always been Automodello's expressed aim to produce models that no one else is making so they're being true to their word and it makes no commercial sense so perhaps the days of multiple models of the same car are behind us? Don't hold your breath. :?
