Automodello 1964 Sunbeam Tiger Mark I

Post by Automodello » Wed May 30, 2012 10:48 am

Hello,

The 1964 Sunbeam Tiger Mark I will be released in 3 editions and begin shipping in July 2012:

$94.95 in Red with a build up to 999
$134.00 in British Racing Green with a build of 134. This is the Official Model for Tigers United XXXIV and will debut during their event on the weekend of June 23-24 in Reno Nevada. The model also comes with a commemorative plaque.
$235.00 Homage Edition in Black with a build of 24. This edition is over half pre-sold and is the 2nd Homage Edition by Automodello, the first sold-out.

All come with a removable hardtop for top-on / top-off display. The hardtop created some truly technical challenges for both Raffi Minasian, Automodello's designer, and for the factory because the hardtop includes side glass. If the hardtop was affixed to the body, then the glass could be supported by the roof and body panels. Since the hardtop is removable, a new approach had to be used and this delayed release by 2-months. There will be instructions included on how to properly handle the hardtop plus you'll have to sign waivers in triplicate - just kidding about the latter.

All 3 can be ordered from Diecasm at http://www.diecasm.com/servlet/the-Marq ... Categories.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,
Jim

Jim, would I be able to upgrade my pre order from the red to the green?

I'll take your red if you forward it to me.
