I received the Sierra and echo the comments, it's not very good at all, just looks so wrong. A shame and definitely not up to their usual standard which to be fair is pretty good. By coincidence I saw the real car at Race Retro, I do like those Sierras.

Well it came out of the box, I shuddered & put it back away. Wish I bought the DS models version now :(

Hi

Thanks for the reply but i meant who is selling the models at discounted prices, I already collect the models from Atlas but i'm looking for extra models for conversions and not paying the stupid prices they are being sold for on Ebay.

I think they are only available from Atlas or via Ebay resellers - they arent to the best of my knowledge available from wholesalers.

As someone with a trade account with one of the major UK wholesalers I can assure you that the one I deal with at least is listing the Cavalier,Mondeo,Cruze BMW M3 and 318i amongst others at approximately 50% less than the Atlas price. I'm guessing the others will be doing the same so expect Ebay and toy fairs to be flooded with them in the next few weeks. Bizarre behaviour from Atlas bearing in mind that some subscribers (me included) have yet to receive the Mondeo and Rover!

CK Modelcars has halved the price of these from Euro 24.95 to Euro 12.95 :

Only the first couple of issues, which suffer from overproduction as a rule.

The Escort is tempting - and it is a Frank Gardner car, one of my favourites.

Goddamnit. Mondeo for 12.95. That really really hurts.

It is very nice indeed, especially for that price.

What price were the models going with Atlas?

Just seen that there are some 1988 Frank Sytner BMW's on eBay, does that mean Atlas are still releasing mew models?

Yes my Syntner M3 arrived this morning and its quite nice to be honest!

The models that CK and others are showing are the models that have been remaindered...so far. The problem IMO is that the series is still continuing and I believe it depends on when in the cycle you subscribe as to what order you receive the models in. For example I have yet to receive the Mondeo and the Rouse Rover and have also seen a Neal Honda R on Ebay that I have not received. Last 3 models for me have been the M3 a Longman Mini 1275 and the Tarquini 155.

Pretty poor form to dump a series or at least part of it immediatley de-valuing a collection when its still continuing...

I agree that it's a little early. On the other hand, maybe people will want to collect the whole series after getting the first batch cheaply...

In reality, almost every part works series suffers from over production and models get dumped as a result. A quick look on the CK Modelcars website shows heavy discounting on the Leo Maserati collection, the Altaya Bus collection, the Altaya commercial van collection, the Atlas Military collection, the Altaya Ferrari collection, the Altaya Opel collection and the Altaya F1 World Champions collection. Some of these cars are selling for as little as Euro 5 each.

Atlas have a forum. Think a post about this topic might be in order!
