Ferrari Testarossa Spider

Post by AdamYip » Wed Nov 15, 2017 9:16 pm

I've just found this older Herpa Testarossa and thought I take a photo of it. Nice model car with good proportions and great colour. But it was a bit let down by the opening doors over time.

I have seen the 1:1 which was given to Mr Agnelli (late Head of the Fiat empire) as a birthday gift. It is silver and supposed to be the only factory made Testarossa Spider so I am surprised that Herpa chose a gunmetal grey colour for the 1:43. I actually prefer this darker finish.

Very nice, didn't know there's a model of Testarossa Spyder. That car brings Commodore 64 / Amiga and it's Out Run game in my mind which I used to play a lot. My favourite game before Gran Turismo :)

I used to play the game "Out Run" too! I remembered they had a red Testarossa Spyder in it. I bought a SEGA machine just for that game, when my peers all were playing Nintendo.

Cheers,
