nissan skyline GTR - HPI

Post by Johnny_Bravo » Mon Nov 08, 2010 12:13 pm

another nissan, a slyline this time, looks pretty good in my opinion, i voted for the white one with no liveries, just wanted to have the street version. as every hpi i have is full of beautiful details and fine craftsmanship.

The model is of course, very well done. Looks like a 1:1 in some areas.

Excellent model. Ebbro version is excellent , just shy of the HPI model.

lancia delta integrale "club italia" - HPI

Post by Johnny_Bravo » Tue Nov 16, 2010 4:15 am

another classic from HPI, i guess you didn't miss this one as well, and if you did, get one fast, is also a great deal with excelent craftsmanship and details. the shape of the car is correct, the rims and the exterior details just in the right place and the interior without flaw.....

X2 on Julio's comments!

I have this in purple by Ixo, which when not comparing to the HPI, looks OK, but your car (and photo quality again!) is without compare!

I only have one other HPI (a Stratos) but looks like I need more now ;)

Thanks for sharing!

Hey BB,

Why am I no longer surprised that you also have that purple Delta by Ixo, and that your only HPI is a Stratos?... :?

Spooky...!

At Sandown Park Toyfair today there were quite a few sellers selling HPI models at half price. I'm hoping patience will pay off with the McLarens.

I have a 1:18 of the HF Integrale like that red one, but having seen that Club Italia, even though it's 1:43rd, I'd say it looks the better model.

Hi Claudiu :)

You're in TOP form on this post! Beautiful car and perfect photography! I actually like the color, very '70s! I have this in black/red interior. A gorgeous shape from every angle! As pretty as it is, I hear it's a nightmare to own in 1:1

Lovely photos! I always thought that Spark probably made the better V8 Aston, now I wonder? The shape of yours somehow seems more accurate! Your photos are literally like being in the model shop with perfect lighting to inspect a car! Always enjoy your pics!

thanks a million for the nice words, apparently the new technique i use does the trick. i am not used to the shape of this car, never saw one live, so i can't tell if is the right one, but the model is indeed a piece of art.

porsche carrera 911 RS 1973 - ebbro

Post by Johnny_Bravo » Tue Nov 30, 2010 6:00 pm

this is my first ebbro porsche, i must say is quite a piece, except for the fact that is pretty light. even if the car is a small one i would have made it a bit heavier. otherwise, excelent work ebbro, i believe is above the schuco and minichamps versions.
