Land of Hope and Glory Collection

Post by reeft1 » Sat Oct 04, 2014 10:33 am

Renowned for the "2 guys building cars in a shed" approach to world beating car design, this selection of personal favourites is a small window in to the mindset of British car production. Now if only someone made the Noble M300 in 1/43......

Your 1:43s all portray very professional and distinctive British designs.

Wish I had Mr. Murrays shed! :D Mind you most of the others (especially the Sagaris) definitely give that impression.

Cheers

Well, Automodello are planning the M12, M400 and the M600 though you may have to be patient. :(

I have that same Cobra but with stripes. I like yours better.
I wish we would get a high quality 427 Cobra. Kyosho really buggered theirs up.

Nice! Now you need the Evoque to complete the set...

I've said it before and I'll never tire of saying it - Jaguar should have civilised, made and sold this Tom Walkinshaw (TWR) inspired V12 powered car instead of the XK220! 100 were produced for one make series racing. A few have since been converted for road use.

Completely agree. So much nicer than the 220.

Been looking for this for a long while - eventually tracked it down in the Czech Republic. Nervous wait but arrived today. Hoorah! The quintessentially British Morgan 3 wheeler by Spark in full blown Spitfire colour scheme. Definitely the epitome of quirky British car design.

So do I. Great add
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.
