Always nice to see new and unusual stuff. It's strange they decided to do this in 1:43 when there isn't much of a market for 1:43 Nascars in the US (or at least there wasn't until Spark recently started doing some of the historic Nascars).

This is not new, I've had this over 10 years and I am the second owner. I guess, doing it in the usual NASCAR 1/24 scale would be too big and a lot more expensive.

I'm glad there are now a couple more Richard Petty cars in 1/43 scale (Sparks Ford Talladega and Superbird) that I can put inside the hauler. When I got this, the only one available was a late era Petty Pontiac by Quartzo. All the rest of the #43''s back then were driven by others from his team.

Very detailed by the looks of it. I wonder whatever happened to the moulds?

It really is very well detailed and very well done, unlike most of Franklin Mint's 1/43's. I am very happy with it. I wish I had taken more pictures, this picture was taken years ago when I first got it. It is now in storage with other larger models.
