Leyland Victory Mk II Hong Kong China Motor Bus

Postby AdamYip » Tue Aug 23, 2016 7:23 am

I remembered seeing a lot of these buses going around town when I was small. Now, this bus company has went out of business and these were replaced by newer air-conditioned buses, we won't see these anymore on the streets of Hong Kong.

I've been to Hong Kong about 20 times, but never ridden on a bus there. With the convenience and speed of the Metro I'm surprised buses are still in use. I quite like the model, though over the years I've seen a lot more interesting liveries than this one and I'm wondering why they chose this one to model.

It doesn't say which company made this model on the base. But I guess its a series called "Autobus Du Monde" issued by Altaya. I would like to get hold of the Greyhound bus made by this series.
