Opel Porsche renntransporter by Schuco

Post by Jager » Tue Sep 20, 2016 1:04 pm

Following their success with the M.A.N. Porsche transporter from the 1960's, Schuco have now produced the Opel transporter that often accompanied the M.A.N. unit :

Here's the pair of transporters on the way to the 1965 Targa Florio.

If you've already shelled out +€200 for the M.A.N. transporter, you'll need equally deep pockets for this one.

Fantastic model. Not for my budget, though.

As far as I know, the opel is in 1/18, so no problems for my wallet

Thanks Danny. If its 1:18 then that makes the price more understandable. However it looks a bit fragile to carry a couple of heavy 1:18 Porsches.

If they have the tooling for 1:18, I guess we'll see it in 1:43 eventually.

Seen the first impressions of the Neuremberg toy fair. And Schuco announced it in 1/43

I took the plunge and ordered one to go with my MAN transporter. This one is a lot cheaper....less than €100.
