Love the piping, looks so good!
...and it's made so easy :D Imagine the beginnings of my model-building, when I was terribly upset as soon as a seat was missing or broken - and now I can make any seat design I want :)

Stunning
Thanks, but it's only "know how" ;)

Nice.

I might have a Rat Motor and a pair of drag slicks laying around that you could have if you want to take it up a notch. ;)

Never mind, I'll keep doing things my way, and you keep doing things right. :D

I'm looking forward to seeing the end result.
No drag slicks, please! A pop-out engine would be possible, but no drag slicks

Next turn of photo-etching.

Front seats for the four-seater.

Image
Seems to fit.

Image
The design of the piping is surely fantasy, but the rear bench of the Solido is perfect and I wanted to keep it, so I tried to match that design with the newly made front seats.

Image
Meanwhile: All interior parts are painted and pre-assembled.

Image
The same for the four-seater.

Image
Acceptable, I guess :P

The dashboards.

Superb work as always Jean! I am interested in the process you use to make the photo etch parts. Have you posted a tutorial before? If not, would you consider making one?

Always amazes me how you manage to put some much detail to these tiny dashes, fantastic.

Yes, of course I had, look here:

Photos are spoiled by photobucket  , but I think the works are still visible. Soon I will replace the photos with flickr... If you have any questions about, let me know! I can only say: photo-etching changed my life :D

Whew! I dig it, daddy-o!
I guess I know what you mean, but I'm unable to answer in the same manner... :)

No big thing: You know how big/thin lines and parts must be for photo-etching, and then simply stuff the space full with details 8-)

Image
Big deal this week was the "marriage" of upper and lower bodies and assembling the interior parts. Plus mounting the radiator grilles.

Image
Surprisingly the complete assembling was quite easy... :)

Image
...no heavy drugs were needed

Image
Same procedure with the two-seater.

Interior is completed, so from now all the exterior trim will follow.

Thanks Jean, that gives me a good idea of what is required. It may be a good project to try this winter! Cheers!
