Amazing. You've built an entire kit and crafted some pieces by hand in less time that it takes me to take & post pictures of a model I bought ready built.

A strange looking car for sure but it certainly looks right for the time period it came from.

That is a beautifully built kit. You are a talented man Jean. I have about 40 unbuilt kits. If you could let me have your address, i’ll post them to you - I don’t need them back finished till next weekend. I’ll even cover the return postage cost.

Excellent work......thats the best one youve shown here so far imo. ;)
Hate to admit, but I agree with the Yucky-lover. For my tastes this one is the best.

You know why Italians speak with their hands? Because they have to work a lot on their engines.

Shades of 007 Lotus Esprit submarine. Excellent job!
You mean skipping this car off the pier would be the best to do  ? I think the best is to look at this car in the tradition of all the "Silver Arrows" and record cars Mercedes made since the 1930s. And I'm indeed a little bit proud of having made this, as I've never chosen such a model kit by myself ;)

Well, this kit didn't contain so many parts, and there was no need to design hundreds of p/e parts, so I could make in in a few weeks. Perhaps my unconscious wanted to get through with it, this may be possible :D

Thank you! - Starting with a dozen I'll grant a special price

The best so far ;) I'm planning some further gems the next 19 and a half years :D

Thanks a lot, fellows, for joining this built, this helped me over some days when I was wondering what I'm doing with this car... :) Now it's packed and waits to find new owner:

Perfect!! Fantastic work as always, apparently not a "very detailed" kit that required your master skills, but the result is the best 1/43 C111-IV in the entire world!

A submarine does come in mind for me too. Very nice result for a unique model :)
