HELLO! FROM THE EAST END

Post by Lighters » Thu Sep 13, 2018 3:46 pm

Hello!

As ive already made a few - modest - contributions to this website, I thought it appropriate to (belatedly) introduce myself, as this seems a very friendly and supportive place to be!

My name is Nicholas, and i was introduced to this site by BertOne following the best purchase on Ebay I ever made - a white metal 'Enco' model. Thank you, Sir!

Im particularly interested in white metal models, post war cars & motor racing and pie, mash and liquor (but not jellied eels)

That answers the question I was going to ask. As BertOne (Will) can tell you we have a a few S143 chaps in the South East and we try to meet up in town once a year. Usually St Martin's which has a reasonable selection of white metal models.

You know why Italians speak with their hands? Because they have to work a lot on their engines.

“Friendly and supportive” you say? I’ll give you the first one but as far as supportive goes, the only support I see it that which makes you buy more models  p

Welcome aboard the fun-ship.

Welcome to the forum
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.
