Hello from Shreveport, Louisiana

Post by Venom » Fri Feb 28, 2014 4:57 pm

Was recommended by JSB33, since he noticed I have a love for things 1/43 :P
Anyway I am originally from the SF Bay Area back in California, then I moved to Shreveport, Louisiana where I now work for a large regional airline. Got the bug for 1/43 back in 2008, at my last job in Cali, then it just went nuts from there. I haven't taken a recent count, but I am probably close to 100 1/43's now, many of which are Sparks and AUTOarts. Also have various other brands in my collection.
Besides 1/43 I also have a strong interest in 1/18 models, model planes, model trains, videogame/anime figures, and r/c cars and aircraft. I have WAY too many hobbies

Yes, I have made my way around the internet. I post on DX, along with GTPlanet sometimes. Also active on a couple other random gaming forums with the same username.

Welcome to the forum
Andy

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Welcome aboard.
100 huh? Believe me that is very restrained for this lot. :D Any particular interests amongst the collection or is it the "OOOH I like that" theme?

Cheers

Pretty much anything I like lol
Had been spending so much money on my r/c cars I had sorta pushed both 1/18 and 1/43 models to the side for a while.

Anyway thanks for the warm welcome :)

I thought 100 sounded a reasonable quantity, but now I think about it my 'small' collection must be close to that
