Today arrived the first 1/64 car in 2019, a used but very nice condition Hotwheels Pontiac Banshee. No box though, just the car.
If I had to choose just one concept car in my collection, this is it :)

Banshee with the car that came out of it, the 4th gen Pontiac Firebird:

The Banshee should have been the 5th generation Firebird.

I always remember that car from a movie I used to watch when I was a kid and also because the very first kit I built when I was also a child was a 1/24 scale Pontiac Banshee by Revell. It brings a lot of nostalgic thoughts to my mind.

Agreed, and still it would've looked futuristic :) Real shame GM killed Pontiac entirely :/

Indeed, Banshee as a 5th gen Firebird next to present day Camaro, certainly looks different :)

There was at least Knight Rider 2000 movie which had similar looking, futuristic red car as a KIFT or Knight Industries Four Thousand but that wasn't actually a Pontiac Banshee, it was custom made car, based on 1991 Dodge Stealth / Mitsubishi GTO.

That's why I got it in 1/64 instead of 1/43 :D

It sure has nice details for the scale. Have seen this kind of "monster trucks" in some car shows and even in one Knight Rider 3rd season episode "Rotten Apples" but I think they were Chevy Pickups in that show.

Hotwheels has recently released pretty interesting cars. Would be nice if I could get them with that price here too, had to pay 2,49 Euros per car (2.73772USD according to xe.com)

Majorette still chooses subjects nobody else tackles. Nice.
