Probably these two cars will gain more attention than those Itasha-themed Lambos and Ferraris in the streets of Tokyo or even at the Daikoku Futou Parking Area.

Did you know that Nissan really did produce a 4-door Skyline GT-R?

Image

It's modified by Nissan's in-house specialty tuner named Autech. Autech uses a different approach of tuning apart from NISMO. They mostly modify Nissan's luxury cars, and they decided to spice up a regular R33 Skyline sedan for the firm's 40th anniversary.

Image

Autech took parts from the Skyline GT-R production line and slam them on a 4 door body. Hence, this car has the tried-and-tested, tuner-friendly RB26DETT engine with 5-speed manual transmission and the ATTESA-ETS 4WD system that turned this family luxury sedan into a beast.

Image

Sadly, it was a limited production model, and it is said that only 20 of those were produced solely for the Japanese Domestic Market. But, with a GT-R badge, it surely hasn't been forgotten and also it surely stands out from the crowd.

What I bought today. It just arrived in the hobby store, they got this first way ahead than the major toy stores:

I removed the silver rim paint by using a nail polish remover (w/o acetone) since the real one has black rims anyway.

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

First ever Secret (or Chase) car in my entire collection!

Oddly enough, no one ever took notice of this in that hobby shop (since the shop keeps allow opening the boxes, as long as it is neatly done). I have thought all along that it's a silver CLK DTM AMG road version since it's the one marked on the box. However, I took a peek at the box before purchase, and voila! It costs just the same as the others in the lineup!

With the road-going version:

Have I understood correctly that the secret model is not advertised or listed? You just have to be lucky to come across one.

Yes, it is not advertised. In like one out of five boxsets, there is a secret car. However, chances are, that there is also a duplicate of one the models listed.
