It was the Charles Kwan Infineon Porsche Asia cup car that had all the hype around it . The original 2004 car was hard to find , as it was only 1000 pieces , but then they brought out the 2005 car which was 2000 pieces and was easier to find.

I was debating buying this when it came out. In retrospect I mostly love the colour.

I bought 3 of them years ago when they first showed up . I got the blue Bilstein car, a silver one and this orange version which I always liked the best of the three .

They made the Turbo in 3 colours , Arena Red , Silver and metallic Black and the black car was the hardest one to find of the 3.
It took me awhile to get one , but it was alot easier finding this one than it was the red GT2 or the red Turbo S .

I've got to be a bit boring here and opt for the silver on this 1:18 stunning shape. My 1:43 Minichamps are blue and yellow plus the Onyx one in white.

I dont Lars .....Out of the 700 or so 1/18s I owned, only about 50 remain as they went when I swapped over to 1/43
The prices my old cars are selling for now wouldve been very nice to get now, so I wish they were still here :(

Minichamps Porsche 917/20 "Pink Pig"
1971 Le Mans - Reinhold Joest / Willi Kauhsen
DNF

The 917/20 was built as a test-bed for future Can-Am parts and aerodynamic low-drag concepts. Shorter and much wider than the 917K, it was designed and tested by Robert Choulet and the SERA wind tunnel, after their other work on the 917. Nicknamed “the Pig” by the company, it was driven by Reinhold Joest/Willi Kauhsen. Following up the psychedelic paintjob of their car the previous year Martini, with tongue in cheek, had the chunky car painted in pink for the race with names of pieces of meat written across it
