Yes, very nice. I'm not sure I'd pick this over the Jetta, however...

Are you going to leave it plain or sticker it up?

Plain. I have a couple or three decorated ones already.

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

My other favourite car
From the 7th round of the 1974 DRM series is this BMW 3.0 CSL driven by Hans-Joachim Stuck (Peterson didn't drive). The meet consisted of two races, the DRM race which was split into two divisions and then a non championship final with a 100,000 DM prize. Perhaps not unsurprisingly it attracted a large entry including works BMW and Ford teams plus all the usual entrants you would expect like Kremer, Zakspeed & Alpina.
For the 1st race Stuck qualified second in Division 1 but from the start he dropped back to save his brakes and tyres which paid dividends as by lap 40 he was back in the running as the leading cars ahead both faded and failed and would go on to take the win after 65 laps.
The final had 20 cars overall comprising the fastest from Division 1 & 2 in the first race and whilst Stuck was away first, again he dropped back this time to third which again paid dividends as the cars ahead again failed thus promoting him to the lead and ultimately the win by 34 seconds after 74 laps. He was 100,000 DM richer
