Thanks Tom.....the E46 3-Series was the best shape 3-Series in my opinion.

Another Dealer Edition, this time from the Audi stable, and this my 6th DE R8. And a bargain too! (Apologies for the first blurry photo)

To bring my 1:18 thread finally up to date.......well for now anyway........the wonderful Minichamps Rover SD1 Vitesse. Already seen on Andy's thread in more than one colour, but a great model that I'd been patiently waiting to add to my collection.

If I was still collecting 18s, this would be a must have. Great colour too.

I also bought that red R8 and the white one from CK some months back on an incredibly special price. The R8 is one of the few cars that look great both as Coupe and Spyder IMHO - Audi didnt achieve it with the TT Gen II and III IMO. Pity

Art Car...? Really? Do you have your 1:18 on display in cabinets Simon and if so have you posted any pics? Would love to see this massive collection - you have some great models in there. I increased my focus on 1:18 as 1/143 prices have escaleted. I am aligning more with NOREV for my 'French Collection' as it has a nice symettry with the prototypes ie Bang for your $$. With Otto & GTS also increasing thir prices now, I am being alot more selective over there, though you do have to be quick now other wise they are coming up on ebay at min 20-30 Euro premiums as people have caught up...

Cheers

Tom - Minichamps really made a decent job of this one.

I agree......prices of the 1:1's are getting ever more tempting too.

Apparently so.....according to the big red box anyway! Not their best, but goes well with my BMW DE collection.

Sadly there is no massive display yet........large amount are in sealed plastic boxes in the loft and then a 100 or so in their boxes in my man-cave. One display cabinet in the dinning room for about a dozen cars. I often trawl back through this thread just to take a look at my collection, and remind myself what I've got.

I've cut my purchases of models down too.......some of the AutoArt's I'd have previously purchased are now £200 plus.....just not justifying that to myself.

This may look familiar as I've previously posted the Minichamps BMW M2.........however BMW have now released a Dealer Edition version so I've bought this too. I might look to off-load the Minichamps boxed one.
