British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.

Kyosho also do a lovely 1:43 Dino with opening parts if the 1:18 doesn’t work out.

I'm looking for Spark's model of the 3rd placed 1968 Le Mans #7 Ford GT40 (S4065). I'm kicking myself for missing this one a few years ago....its the only podium car I'm missing.

Thanks Gary. I've seen that one, but was hoping to find one for less. I missed out on one last night at US$ 77 :

Simon , you dont make things easy for yourself do you :D

No doubt you will know its the dealer version in Ford packaging that was released in 2008 and is now as rare as rocking horse stinky stuff
Ford dealers wont carry it now , but if you call your local one and ask them to look on their computer dealer network, you might possibly find one hiding in some parts department somewhere....its worth a phone call anyway .

Part number IND403087203

Does it have to be white? The blue and silver ones are readily available on ebay.

I'm looking for a 1:43 Panther Six by Bizarre - this was released in about 2015 and can't imagine there was too much interest, but it seems quite elusive now. Want to spend no more than $50 if possible? And no, I'm not a prop master for the next Thunderbirds film :P Thanks, BB

I think $50 is a little optimistic. Even when it was first released, the Panther was selling new for over $100.

Here's one in France or US$76 :

One sold on eBay in Jan '18 for Euro 149 (US$ 149) which might blow your theory that they aren't that popular :

Thanks to Tom and Ian for the references. Tom's link is actually the same place I linked the photo from. Ian, I suppose you're right about my $50 aspirations, however I could have actually bought one of these last year from a dealer for only $27! A classic could've/should've story. $76 is probably a fair price, but maybe the want is not really $76 strong? There's always the Ban Seng version for even more $$$ All great suggestions gents and something to ponder. BB

Thanks. How do you buy there? I can't understand anything. Can I pay with credit card or paypal and will they ship to Europe?

You need to use a proxy bidding service like Buyee:

http://buyee.jp

Watch out as the fees can quickly add up. In my experience it typically adds about $30.00 USD to the final auction price once you figure in fees, shipping, protective packaging, etc.

Super easy to use though.

Here's an easier option....SPR have two in stock for USD 55 each :

Thanks, I guess I'll go with SPR for now as it is cheaper and easier :)

I know its the 'wrong" scale but are there any French forum members out there who can help me obtain an Altaya model? They are about to or already have release/d the 1980 RAC Rally winning Sunbeam Lotus of the late Henri Toivonen in 1/18th as part of their Les Grandes des Rallyes series. Would really like one as Ixo will issue some bizarre variant themselves because of course they are enthusiasts!!

Merci

Chris
