Ebay search engine issues

Post by rotormotor » Mon Sep 04, 2017 12:09 am

So typing the same criteria I've used since 2010 "1/43 mazda" in all categories I suddenly find 0 listings but been autoresearched with fewer words to get one measly page of cars.
I note also the drop down box (newly listed/highest price etc) is missing.
Get same result from my saved search link.

Find it hard to believe.

Using cellphone on desktop site but same result using mobile site.

In fact none of my saved serches for anything work.they all show 0 items found.

After a google search it might be a glitch not just me.

Built-in security Lars. Obviously ebay thinks you've bought enough, it's time to stop now.

Something is going on. Last night I tried "Le Mans" and got the same results as Lars. But if I tried "Mans" I got a couple thousand .
I think that means evil is back on evilBay.

Worked fine for me a moment ago. I got 35,020 results for "le mans" on eBay.com and 42,654 results on eBay.co.uk ?

Seems to be working properly here. A worldwide search for "le Mans" in Toys and Hobbies category yields 31,497 results. If the problem you describe is happening, it will be bad news for my sales. :?

Tried to check if this was the reason I couldn't contact motor-circuit, but it seems I still can't. Gives me the ol' "We're sorry we couldn't find an answer for you. Unfortunately, this seller is not able to respond to your question. We suggest reviewing the item again to see if your answer is in the seller's listing." Very strange.

Luc, you can also try "LM 43", "Lemans 43" & "Du Mans 43" (for the French listings). I find adding"43" to my eBay searches filters out a lot of the unwanted 1/18 models, books, DVD's and miscellaneous stuff.
