Looking for Spark Matra MS 120D,Chris Amon 3rd French GP 1972 S1607. This was where Christopher drove what he considered his best race ever, and marked a turning point in his outlook, that, "if I couldn't win this race, I'd never win any race", and he started to slowly lose interest in F1. After fitting a sports car spec engine to the car, he qualified over 1 1/2 seconds faster than Jackie Stewart, was running away with the race and hiding, to suffer a puncture, limp back to the pits, come out in 7th spot and clawed his way back up to third before he ran out of race. Also the race where Helmut Marko lost an eye.
A seminal car in the Amon collection, but I missed the Spark model when it came out, and now it seems, hard to find.

I've got the 120B from the Argentine GP and 120C from Monaco (S1592 and S1606). Saw one on a Japanese E Bay site, but it was gone when I got around to mentally stumping up the $150 he wanted!
But thanks for the offer.

I know its the 'wrong" scale but are there any French forum members out there who can help me obtain an Altaya model? They are about to or already have release/d the 1980 RAC Rally winning Sunbeam Lotus of the late Henri Toivonen in 1/18th as part of their Les Grandes des Rallyes series. Would really like one as Ixo will issue some bizarre variant themselves because of course they are enthusiasts!!

Merci

Chris
All sorted now as have bought 3 from Ebay sellers!

The Spark code is US009 Bruno. It looks like there might be one or two available from Japan.

Do you have a link for those? I searched for it but I couldn't find it.

Not that I know of Robby. Like you I also need a few outer sleeves for older models that have been damaged. Ive looked at producing some repro boxes (I knows someone who is doing repro Matchbox boxes), but the foil finish is a problem.

Replicarz are indicating they haven't received their stock of the 1966 Winner and that it is a future release not available yet. Even though it is sold out in Europe, you may still be able to pre-order one from the USA:

Matt, there was one sold on eBay last month by a store in the Netherlands. You could try contacting them to see if they have another :
