Thanks for the concern gents.

I just need to focus more on the real priorities and selling off most of the collection will hopefully go a long way to taking care of some big expenses lately.

Even if I sell all of these I will still have ~60 models - my true favorites.

Many nice models, and a LOT of them too. Not really within my collecting theme, but I am sure you will be able to sell them for good prices. I too wish the best of luck with the selling. :)

Sorry to see you part with much of your collection Douglas, but as you say there are other priorities in life. I think the idea of kepping just those models that have importance to you is a good one and I think we are all guilty of buying models from time to time for which we don't have a strong connection.

Thank goodness I don't collect cars with numbers. There is probably a lot of temptation in that list for those that do. Good luck with the sell off.

Good luck with your sales, gutted to see you selling.
I'm not addicted to models, an addict admits their problems & I don't have a problem.

It's definitely a buyer's market out there so putting an indefinite hold on the sell-off except for a few. See first post.

Hi Douglas. I know this post is three years old, but thought it was worth asking. Did you sell Spark SG024 (Lotus Europa Turbo 1979 DRM Nürburgring Supersprint DNF - M. Ketterer)? I've been looking for this model for a couple of years.
Cheers, John

John - I did sell it a few years back. Sorry I can't help.
