Your models delivered by drones!

Post by LM24HRS » Wed Apr 10, 2019 7:53 am

Who is going to be the first fourm member to have their model order delivered by a drone?

Reading the news this morning I would think its going to be those living in Australia after which it will be Finland according to Google.

Google Wing has just launched its first commercial drone delivery service in the Canberra area.

Lets us know if you are the first.

In Australia, the drones will be flat out delivering cold six packs, there won’t be much spare capacity for models ;) .

I don't think I'm going to receive any models or other things by drones anytime soon :D

Doubt it'll happen in the UK. They'll 'lose' too many. Those they don't lose will be shot down by the cops if they're within 5 km of an airport...

....unless its at Gatwick, in which case the police and the military will spend two weeks looking for the drone only to decide there never really was a drone at all ;)

Certain couriers in the UK have a rep for throwing parcels over locked gates etc so maybe a gentle set down by drone might not be a bad thing!

British roads have history. Some were built by the Romans. British road investment being what it is, they have only been re-surfaced a few times since.
