It's going to be expensive for the LM fans... luckily, knowing Spark, you'll have a couple of years to save for all these.

I only really want the #56 Project 1. Anything else will be just okay.

You know why Italians speak with their hands? Because they have to work a lot on their engines.

Quite the opposite Tom...Spark are pretty good banging out their Le Mans cars, especially if there are no new castings. At this point, they’ve released 80% of last years’ cars.

John received my order over the weekend. Thankfully I don’t have to pay him in advance.

If that is for all 49, that sounds a scary undertaking

I tend to agree with you Ian on how quickly Spark are producing models from the LM grids these days. I suspect the x2 Rebellion models will be among the favorites.

I best get on and do some window shopping.

As much as I’d love all of them, that’s not going to happen. Nevertheless, the order quickly jumped into double digits in order to secure a selection of class winners, other podium cars, Art Cars and Australian drivers.

The Ferraris are notably absent from the list. Wonder who has the license?

Typically you can get these from Looksmart at a premium.

Also missing are the BMW's just like last year. Still no word on who will definitely be making these (TSM, Minichamps ???), but clearly Spark can't get hold of a licence.

Slightly other topic: Is Spark increasing their price? In the EU, they used to be just below 60 euro, but now all announcements have list prices between 63 and 65 euro. I.e. for every 11 models you pay one extra... Is this a temporal thing? Anybody saw this coming?

Some of it could be a currency thing. This time last year, the USD was buying €0.86 (ie a US$60 model was worth €51.60). Today it buys €0.89 Euro (so the same US$60 model is now €53.30), so there's €2 of increase.

Looks like it was a true price hike.
Yay.

Not Spark but will post here as it is the painful part of the Le Mans releases for some.

One thing I will give the Ferraris this year is a great variety of colour schemes to choose from.

That's excellent news. Their choice of 1:18's to produce the last couple of years has been disappointing, but I think I'll struggle to choose which to buy out of those.

They've used a picture of the 2016 AF Corse 51 car though. This years livery, whilst still very nice, isn't quite as colourful!
