That looks great!

Nice to see the 'new' mid-engined 2017 Porsche 911 RSR's make an appearance from Spark. Although not particularly successful, they look great.

I'm so far from a Porsche fan but wow those are tempting. Spark have done an incredible job. The loudest car I've ever heard.

Re: Spark 2017
Are those your pictures? I am always tempted to get the full team, but I cannot really justify the purchase of the second car. But seeing these almost makes me change my mind...
Anyone has any news from Spark regarding a high downforce 919 from 2017?

Re: Spark 2017
It looks like they did. The car is already on their FB page as "pre-ordable" and it is expected to be released in this semester.

Re: Spark 2017
Yep. Just saw them up on some of the Japanese sites yesterday for pre-order so I also assume they got it sorted.
Maybe that's why IXO is not getting the license.

Those 2 Porsche's are now released. Just saw them available for sale at the CK website in the novelties section.

Re: Spark 2017
According to today's Raceland newsletter there won't be any more catalogues from Spark. Projects have accumulated over the years and now they decided to update their website more frequently.

Re: Spark 2017
I wonder how the retailers feel about that given the number of pre-orders they usually receive for the year(s) ahead after the release of the catalogue after the toy fair.

Re: Spark 2017
Indeed that is an issue which will not go down well with retailers and I guess for collectors.
It may not be across all genres of collecting but in my small area (Le Mans from 1982 until I stopped 'grid' collecting in the mid 2000s) thirty-three models were shown in the 2017 catalogue that have to date failed to appear, with some of those being in each catalogue from as far back as 2014. Possibly Spark are having a 'catch-up' year with fewer cars to advertise and maybe want to avoid criticism for a lack of new models. Whatever the reason, I hope all that were included in the 2017 catalogue do see the light of day, because my records show Spark has the propensity to advertise a proposed model in a catalogue, or indeed more than one catalogue, and then it vanishes. Several models have suffered this fate.
Another issue with Spark appears to be their quality control. My main supplier of models sent me pictures of different examples of the reissued 1982 Le Mans winning Porsche 956. All had badly misaligned decals on the front of the car. Another cigarette sponsored model I ordered was not supplied with the full set of tobacco decals. Has Spark got too big?
